A Bronx-raised attorney and her husband, a Long Island native, were among four American tourists killed in an explosion near the Acropolis in Athens, Greece.
Florida Hoxha grew up in the Bronx and was a senior attorney at the New York Legal Assistance Group, according to ABC News. Her husband, Ian Alexander Kirkpatrick, was from Huntington and attended Huntington High School from 2003 to 2007, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Three years later, detectives say they finally know who killed Avrell Milam.
The break in the Maryland murder case led investigators to Washington, DC, where a 67-year-old man was arrested this month in connection with the fatal 2023 stabbing, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.
Kevin Warbington, who has no fixed address, is accused of killing Milam, 33, whose body was found outside near the Hyattsville Crossing Metro station in the early-morning hours of Aug. 30, 2023.
Milam had also been living without a fixed address.
