Shelley Fabares Dies: TV Sitcom Favorite Also Starred In Movies, Including Opposite Elvis
Shelley Fabares, whose career stretched from teenage television stardom to hit sitcoms, movies, and a No. 1 record, has died.
Fabares died Saturday, Aug. 22, in Los Angeles following a brief illness, her family said. She was 82.
“To her family and friends, Shelley was a source of love, strength, laughter and comfort,” they said in a statement, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
