They just kept coming back.
A pair of Maryland residents accused of repeatedly targeting Delaware retailers over the course of a month are now behind bars after investigators say a string of alleged shoplifting incidents escalated into an attempted robbery.
Matthew Osborne, 37, and Haley Barton, 25, both of North East, were arrested in Maryland on Tuesday, July 29, after Delaware State Police linked them to a retail theft spree spanning Home Depot, Lowe's, ShopRite and Cabela's stores in Newark and Bear.

Investigators are searching for Dennikia Rachelle Boyce, 37, who is wanted on a murder charge in connection with the fatal shootings on Friday, July 24, at a Virginia Department of Transportation staging area near Route 1 and Route 288 in Chesterfield County.

Now a Maryland woman is charged after police say she cut around traffic, made an illegal turn, and turned a routine drive through DC into a fatal hit-and-run.
The driver, 34-year-old Shaneia Gregnesia Lincoln, of Upper Marlboro, was arrested this week in connection with the April crash that killed 61-year-old Dawn Ciccone, the Metropolitan Police Department announced Friday, July 31.
According to investigators, the crash happened around 11:11 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, at the intersection of 23rd and L streets NW in Foggy Bottom.
