An ill-fated fling between a school security guard and student in St. Mary’s County will land a 22-year-old man in in prison, authorities announced. Davon Natrell Stewart, who was tasked with keeping students safe, has been convicted following a two-day bench trial of sexual abuse of a minor after he was caught with a 15-year-old from Chopticon High School, where he worked. Stewart, while employed as a Safety and Security assistant at the school, prosecutors say that he inappropriately touched the child on at least one occasion. A 14-year-old William Allen High School student made the phony 911 call about an active shooter that brought authorities to campus last week, according to Allentown police. The unnamed teen is charged with terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, and communication with 911 systems for a non-emergency, the department said in a release. Allentown police were dispatched to William Allen High School Thursday morning for an active shooter report that turned out to be a hoax, according to the department. Authorities said they received the phony call around 10:20 a.m., Oct. 26.
