Body Found In Connecticut River ID'd As Missing College Student
A body found in the Connecticut River has been identified as a college student who was reported missing last year.
The body of Wasique Hasan, age 21, of Easthampton, Massachusetts, was discovered in Hampshire County Friday, May 21, by a boater in Hadley, said the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office.
No foul play is suspected.
Hasan, who attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, had been reported missing by his family on Wednesday, Dec. 30, and his name was then entered into the National Crime Information Center as a missing person.

Mark Cunningham Of Norwalk, 35, Dies Suddenly
Mark V. Cunningham of Norwalk died suddenly in Florida on Wednesday, Feb. 7. He was 35 years old.
Mark was born in Norwalk on Nov. 23, 1982. He attended Norwalk schools and enjoyed his work as a deckhand in the fishing industry.
Mark loved being on the water, boating and fishing with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Mickey Weisheit Carford and Mark Cunningham; his son, Anthony; sisters Heather, Audrey and Erin Cunningham; grandparents Martha Jane Weisheit, Vincent and Mary Cunningham; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
