A Connecticut homeowner attempting to stop a man from stealing his Audi out of his driveway was shot at by the suspects, police said. The incident took place in New Haven County in North Branford around 11 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 8 in the Northford section of town. According to North Branford Police, the homeowner was alerted to an unknown man attempting to steal his white Audi which was parked in the driveway. A 21-year-old Bloomfield woman was killed in a crash between a tractor trailer and car early Friday morning, Sept. 1 in Jersey City, authorities said. At 2:15 a.m., Jersey City police responded to the crash in the area of the Routes 1 and 9 North ramp on Route 139 West, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
