DUI Driver Slams Into PA State Police Cruiser, Injures Trooper In Work Zone: PSP
A suspected impaired driver from Texas slammed into a marked Pennsylvania State Police cruiser in an active construction zone, injuring a trooper, authorities said.
The crash happened on Interstate 476 North near mile marker 4.6 in Marple Township around 11:36 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, according to Public Information Officer Trooper Paul Holdefer.
The driver has since been identified as Ayodele Razaq Adegbite, 53, of Houston, Texas, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice on Thursday, Aug. 27. The criminal case was filed that day in Delaware County.

Abused Dog Found With Open Wounds, Fly Infestation In New York: Authorities
A Long Island man was arrested after his dog was found infested with flies and suffering from open wounds, authorities said.
Cecilio Matthews, 50, of Bellport, was charged with several counts of animal cruelty under state and county laws, the Suffolk County SPCA said Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Investigators determined earlier in the month that Matthews had failed to care for his 10-year-old mutt, Seven, leaving the dog neglected in a yard, according to the SPCA.
