At 8:58 p.m., officers responded to the Black Horse Pike and Fire Road after an 80-year-old Williamstown man driving a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado traveling westbound struck a pedestrian, a Mays Landing man, improperly crossing the street, Egg Harbor Township police said. The man sustained serious bodily injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, police said. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, police said.
