Thousands Of Toyota, Lexus, Subaru Vehicles Recalled Over Software Issue
A new safety recall is putting thousands of owners on notice.
Toyota is recalling 20,991 electric vehicles, including Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru models, over a software issue that could cause a loss of drive power, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The recall affects certain 2026 model-year Toyota bZ, Lexus RZ, and Subaru Solterra vehicles.
The affected vehicles include 11,495 Toyota bZ models, 4,739 Lexus RZ models, and 4,757 Subaru Solterra models, according to NHTSA.
The issue involves the battery electronic control unit, or ECU.

One of Hollywood’s last links to the studio era has died.
Ann Blyth, the actress and singer best known for her Oscar-nominated turn in "Mildred Pierce," died Wednesday, June 24, according to Entertainment Weekly and People. She was 98.
Blyth died of natural causes at her home in Rancho Santa Fe, California, according to her obituary.
Her career spanned radio and Broadway, film musicals, noir, television, and concert stages, making her one of the more versatile performers of her generation.

Andrae Green Paintings Coming To Gallery 51 This Summer
A new exhibition of paintings by Andrae Green is coming to Gallery 51 at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts this summer.
“At Water’s Edge: Thresholds of Memory” opens Saturday, July 11, and runs through Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at Gallery 51, located at 51 Main Street in North Adams.
According to MCLA, an artist’s reception will be held Friday, Aug. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
The exhibition features Green’s recent narrative paintings, which use fragmented scenes, layered imagery, and shifting perspectives to create a feeling of dislocation.
